Summer II – Acrylic on Canvas

This is one of my husbands favorite pieces. He loves all the flowers and butterflies and as a 48″ x 48″ x 1.5″ canvas, it is pretty impressive in person. There are Shasta daisies, hollyhocks, sunflowers, and black eyed Susan’s, providing the nectar for a couple of swallow tail butterflies and a bushfoot butterfly.

The piece is created in acrylics on a  48″ x 48″ x 1.5″, gallery wrapped canvas, coated with an acrylic varnish for posterity.
