These journal pages were created with watercolors and patterned paper. “Something to Crow About” was our theme and the feathers and area around the roosters allowed us to journal about what we each have to crow about! Come join us at the Visual Journaling Classes at Gypsy Muse Studio.

Mixed Media Panel Classes at Gypsy Muse Studio are just fun. I am always so excited to see what amazing panels come from these creative people. We work with acrylics, ink, gesso, papers, watercolors, and so much more. Here are just a few beautiful panels created in class.

What a great time we had at our Stamp Carving Mini Workshop. These ladies did such a great job creating their own designs and carving them into stamps. Each piece is so unique and such a wonderful surprise when you see the first print!

The following watercolor pieces were created using wet into wet technique, as well as a little salt. Come create a watercolor stained glass in our next Sunday watercolor class. Sign up now, space is limited.

What a fantastic job these ladies did on their pumpkins, we used a saran wrap technique and got some great texture in our pumpkins. Sunday Watercolor at Gypsy Muse Studio, 106 East Texas Street, Grapevine, Texas.

I held my first Altered Book Workshop “Setting Them Free”, at Gypsy Muse Studio in October. What a fantastic job the whole class did. We took a vintage book and using mixed media techniques, we set free the butterflies and flowers. It was so cool to see how different everybody’s looked. We had a great watercolor class at Gypsy Muse Studio, we finished up our Fall leaves and pods, that we had started at the last class. As usual, the ladies did spectacular. What a great time we had on Sunday creating our Roosters! Some finished, some did not, but once again, the finished ones look fantastic and the works in progress will be beautiful. What fun we had creating these repeating patterns, using scissors, paint tubes and paint brushes. Using a wet on wet techniques the ladies got some really interesting results. Although we didn’t all finish, everyone got a great start and when finished, will all look wonderful!

We have been working on Stargazer Lilies and a Rose. Some have finished, some have not, but they are all coming along really well. These are lengthier pieces than we have worked on before, so they have had to practice watercolor patience as they complete these beauties.
